1. Who We Are and Scope of This Policy. AVVIOX US LLC ("AVVIOX," "we," "us," or "our") is a limited liability company organized under the laws of the United States of America. We own and operate the website www.avviox.com and the StruBone® trademark. We act as the data controller of the personal information described in this Privacy Policy. This Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you: (i) visit or interact with our website; (ii) submit information through lead-generation forms published on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram), including instant forms; (iii) communicate with us through messaging channels such as WhatsApp Business; or (iv) otherwise engage in business communications with us. Because AVVIOX operates internationally, this Policy applies to the personal information of individuals regardless of where they live, in every country where AVVIOX conducts business, whether directly or through authorized partners and distributors.
2. Personal Information We Collect Our website and campaigns are directed at companies and professionals (business-to-business). Information you provide. When you contact us or complete one of our forms, we collect business identification and professional contact information, such as: company name and tax identification number (RUC, NIT, EIN, or the local equivalent); city and coverage areas; corporate authorizations, licenses, and registrations (for example, authorized-distributor or drug-establishment status and good-practice certifications); years of operation, product lines distributed, and sales-team size; and the contact person's name, job title, e-mail address, and telephone or WhatsApp number. Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we may collect limited technical data such as IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and cookie identifiers.
Information from other sources. We may supplement the information you provide with information from publicly available sources, such as official public registries (for example, tax or company registries and health-authority databases), in order to verify business credentials.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (such as health, biometric, or financial account data of individuals), and we ask that you not submit such information through our forms.
3. How We Use Personal Information. We use personal information to:
• evaluate distribution and business-partnership candidacies;
• contact interested parties and respond to inquiries;
• manage pre-qualification processes, confidentiality agreements, and requests for information;
• administer commercial and contractual relationships;
• comply with legal, regulatory, and health-authority obligations;
• protect our rights, enforce our agreements, and prevent fraud or misuse; and

4. Legal Bases for Processing. Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on: (i) your consent, given when you voluntarily submit a form or initiate a conversation with us; (ii) steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract, or the performance of a contract; (iii) our legitimate interest in developing business-to-business relationships and in operating and promoting our company; and (iv) compliance with legal obligations.
5. How We Share Personal Information. We may share personal information with:
Meta Platforms, Inc. and its affiliates, as operator of the platforms and forms through which you contact us (Meta's own processing is governed by Meta's privacy policy); Service providers that support our operations (such as web hosting, contact-management tools, and messaging platforms), which process the information in order to provide their services to us; professional advisors (legal, regulatory, accounting) bound by confidentiality obligations; AVVIOX affiliates and business partners, where necessary for the purposes described in this Policy; public authorities, courts, or law enforcement, where required by applicable law or to protect our legal rights; and a buyer or successor entity, if we sell some or all of our assets or merge with a third party, in which case relevant personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
6. No Sale of Personal Information. We do not sell, lease, or rent personal information to third parties for monetary or other consideration, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.
7. International Data Transfers. Because our operations are multinational, personal information may be processed in the United States of America (where AVVIOX US LLC is organized) and in other countries where we or our service providers operate. Those countries may have data-protection laws that differ from the laws of your country. Where required by applicable law, we implement appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
8. Data Retention. We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy: for the duration of the evaluation process or the business relationship and, thereafter, for the periods required by applicable law or necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. Information about candidates that are not selected may be kept for a reasonable period in case new business opportunities arise, unless the data subject requests deletion.
9. Your Privacy Rights. Depending on the law applicable where you live, you may have the right to: know what personal information we hold about you; access, correct, update, or delete your personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw your consent at any time; and receive a copy of your information in a portable format. 12. Third-Party Links and Platforms. Our website and advertisements may contain links to third-party websites and platforms (including Meta and WhatsApp). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing information to them.
13. Security.
